THE CHALLENGE

Even the best intentions can create a mess

As the university published more valuable content, the digital experience became cluttered and difficult to navigate. Not only does this taint the university experience, it can dampen passion for the subjects, causing identity friction. “Is this really what I want to do?”

We were brought in to help untangle the web of content and map the various student journeys, showing where they passed through subdomains, platform integrations and external links.

THE APPROACH

See the situation from different points of view

The audit was a walkthrough of what it’s like to be in different students’ shoes. This closed the empathy gap with the leaders in the room, and made coordinated planning easier to navigate and implement.
